Dean Turner joined Steptoe & Johnson in October 2007 as Executive Director of the firm.  Mr. Turner has more than twenty-five years experience in top-level management decision making, involving strategic planning, finance, personnel, office procedures, automated systems and support services. 

Mr. Turner is a member of the Board of Directors of 20/10 Consulting, LLC.

EDUCATION

Mr. Turner is a Fellow of the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.  He holds a M.A. in Management & Human Relations from St. Louis University, as well as a M.S. in Aeronautical Systems from the University of West Florida.  He holds a B.S. in Marine Transportation from the United States Merchant Marine Academy.

EXPERIENCE

Mr. Turner worked for Pierce Atwood LLP in Portland, Maine, as Chief Administrative Officer.  Prior to joining Pierce Atwood, Mr. Turner worked for Lowndes, Drosdick, Doster, Kantor & Reed, P.A. as Executive Director.  He also formerly held the position of Executive Assistant in the Office of the Secretary of Defense.
