Creditor's Rights
Mr. Epperly represents creditors and bankruptcy trustees in all types of bankruptcy and workout matters to include:
Real Estate
Mr. Epperly is involved in all aspects of commercial and residential real estate matters, including conducting title examinations, drafting documents related to such transactions and acting as closing agent.
Commercial Transactions
Additionally, Mr. Epperly is involved in the drafting of numerous documents related to commercial transactions as well as the negotiations which are inherent in these types of matters.
PROFESSIONAL AND CIVIC ASSOCIATIONS
Mr. Epperly is a member of the Business section of the American Bar Association and has attended the annual Southeastern Bankruptcy Law Institute Seminar. He also serves on the Young Lawyers Section Executive and the Bankruptcy Committees of the West Virginia State Bar.
EDUCATION
Mr. Epperly received his legal education at West Virginia University College of Law. He received his undergraduate degree from Marshall University where he graduated cum laude with a degree in Finance.
Prior to his employment with Steptoe & Johnson, Mr. Epperly served as law clerk to the Honorable L. Edward Friend, II, Chief Bankruptcy Judge for the Northern District of West Virginia.
