Jonathan Ellis focuses his practice in the areas of mine safety and health law, deliberate intent and premises liability litigation, and environmental law. Jonathan has successfully represented mine operators, both large and small, in contests of citations and orders issued by either MSHA or state mining agencies. He has defended individual miners in decertification actions and 110(c) investigations and counseled mine operators on compliance with federal and state mine safety laws. Jonathan’s practice also includes defending of companies in deliberate intent, premises liability, and environmental litigation.
