Kathy Beckner began her career with Steptoe & Johnson in 1970 as a legal secretary in the Clarksburg office.  In 1984, she was made Office Manager of the Morgantown office.  

Ms. Beckner is a graduate of Waynesburg High School.  She continued her education at Penn Commercial Business College in Washington, Pennsylvania in the area of secretarial science. 

Ms. Beckner previously worked at Waynesburg College as secretary to the Dean of Student Life and also as a secretary/bookkeeper at a West Virginia law firm.

Ms. Beckner is a member of the Waynesburg Pennsylvania Chapter 888 of the Moose Auxiliary and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fairmont Veterans of Foreign Wars.
