Mike Hensley first joined Steptoe & Johnson in 2004 as a paralegal. In 2008 he became an associate and now concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate and natural resources (coal, oil and gas), commercial transactions and commercial litigation.
REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE
- Before entering law school, Mr. Hensley served as a special assistant in the Elections Division in the West Virginia Secretary of State’s Office, where he assisted in advising candidates, political committees, and the general public on election procedures and laws.
- During law school, Mr. Hensley interned in the West Virginia Attorney General’s office and the West Virginia University General Counsel’s Office, assisting their staff with employee grievances, real property and contract issues, and higher education policy matters.
