Walter Williams concentrates his practice in health care and business transactions, particularly in business transactions involving health care providers, both for profit and tax-exempt. Mr. Williams also counsels clients with respect to acquisitions, financings, confidentiality issues (including HIPAA), medical staff and bylaws issues, medical records, licensure, Medicare and Medicaid fraud and abuse, self-referral limitations, health care contracting, managed care, compliance, and general health care issues. He has drafted contracts and other documentation and handled closings, and has also provided legal services to municipal and other public bodies, including tax-exempt public and private financings. Mr. Williams serves as leader of the firm’s Health Care Practice Group.
